The Complete Antenatal Course with Yoga

The course consists of 4 modules, 7 lessons each that you can watch online. The course will include live sessions on a weekly basis with me, and a group to connect with other expectant parents and for questions. The whole course is inspired by yoga, meditation and its body-mind connection via breath, but there will be an opportunity to practise antenatal yoga for those that want to.

What does the course cover:

  • The psychology of birth - what happens in your brain during labour and the hormones involved

  • Understanding your birth rights and advocating for your birth

  • The birth physiology - what happens in your body in labour in each stage​

  • Choosing your place of birth

  • Making your birth preferences

  • Birth partner and their role in your birth

  • Possible medical interventions in birth, induction, assisted births and Caesareans; What you need to know

  • The power of mindfulness in birth; connection between yoga and birth

  • Prenatal yoga: Breathing techniques, visualisations, relaxation and prenatal poses to practise.
